Delta 8 products from Area 52 provides Canadians with a new way to enjoy cannabis. It has less anxiety-inducing effects and is about half as psychoactive as delta 9 THC which we know and love.
In 2010, espy owner Megan Szanik’s dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Determined to raise awareness and support those affected by the disease, Megan launched #nakedespy—a bold, unconventional event designed to spark conversation about men’s health.
Her idea? The first 30 guys to show up in their underwear with a donation to the Prostate Cancer Centre will receive a free outfit styled by espy.
By the second year, men were lining up to take part in this one-of-a-kind experience.
#nakedespy is about more than just fashion. It’s about breaking down barriers and getting guys to talk about their health in a fun and cheeky way. By literally bearing it all, participants start conversations, challenge stigmas, and raise money to support lifesaving research and treatments for prostate cancer.
The event itself is a spectacle—men parading through the neighbourhood in their underwear, bringing awareness to an issue affecting 1 in 8 Canadian men. Over the years, #nakedespy has grown into a movement, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars.
When it comes to making a difference, sometimes you have to strip it down to the basics.
** The #nakedtodressed party is 18+. Alcohol and burlesque performances are not suitable for minors. **
All ticket proceeds and donations go directly to the Prostate Cancer Centre.
100% of funds raised support education, awareness, and ground-breaking research to assist the Southern Alberta Institute of Urology in its mission to improve diagnostic techniques and treatment options, enhance patient quality of life and find a cure for prostate cancer and prostate-related diseases.
Since its inception, #nakedespy has raised over $300,000 for the PCC. Moreover, the event continues to grow every year, bringing more awareness to men’s health.
